It is always a little rocky coming back from a long break. Our Heroes really missed their parents this first week coming back, but with a little bit of time we all started to get acclimated again. We lost power for a little bit Monday morning, but did an impromptu problem solving session with math problems on the board. A lot of the learners mentioned how they liked doing problems on the board a little more than doing it on the computer.

This week we started talking about creating our businesses. The learners created a practice lemonade stand with a group and figured out some elements that might be important in creating a business. The rest of this week we have talked about brands, slogans, and what kind of entrepreneurs they want to be. We are excited to keep moving along with this quest.

Lastly, I created an interactive calendar for our Heroes to help them keep track of the days. I have found this to be really helpful for them to have autonomy and help them with the days of the week.
